Are you SUPER excited or WHAT?  we will be posting STANDARDS for the workouts on Sunday or Monday.  We are busy working behind the scenes to get all of you taken care of.  We have to apologize for the lack of communication on the website.. you see,

I have to tell you,  I have been DYING to tell you the workouts.. why?  Because I KNOW the anticipation is building.  I WILL say this.. we do want you to walk away from this competition saying "WHAT just happened??"  I discussed the workouts with my heads of judging today and the looks on their faces were one of excitement and well.. let's just say, it is varied and will challenge you in many different ways.  This series of workouts is designed to challenge you both physically an mentally as well as challenge not just one modality or intensity, but to challenge YOUR PERSONAL power output curve.  (yeah we are a bunch of propeller heads over here at FTF)

There will be two Heat based Wods and one floater WOD.  Scoring will be discussed in another post on Sunday.  Once the three wods are completed, we will tally results with the use of WodClub and post results instantly.  Then, the top three teams and the top 5 men and women will move on to the FINAL WOD!  All scores will be wiped clean and the results.. are well... let's just say the competition is going to be fierce for the First, Second and Third!!

OK.. athletes, please show up between 8 and 8:30 to register.  We will have a registration table out front.  We would ask that you park down the street from the gym.  Barring any SUPER rainy weather, we will have our vendors and sponsors setting up at 0800 in our parking lot area and also inside the building.  We will have a warm-up area and a competition area.  The goal is to have heats of 10 people running at a time (logistically we are working all of these details out as people register)   Teams will run 2 teams at a time.

The Floater WOD has to be completed by individuals AND teams.  Each Heat Wod will also be completed by individuals AND teams.  This will mimick closely the form of the CrossFit Games Open WOD last year in which each athlete completed the individual event but the whole team got a score.  The kicker will be the final WOD... All bets will be off :)

OK.. event parking.  Please pull PAST the gmy at 349 N Minnewawa in Clovis and park anywhere around the circle.  We have a LOT of empty ground out there for use for parking at the event.

Volunteers, please show up between 730 and 8:00 AM

Event will kick off with an athletes meeting at 0900 and then heats will start at 0930.  They will be arranged in such a way in which we will try to get about two hours betwen your workouts except for the floater.  We will have more details for you as time goes on.... stay tuned!
